Causal Rule Mining

A causal rule mining model is an analytical approach usually used in machine learning to identify the causal relationship from data, finding cause-and-effect relationship (differently from data mining, which focuses on finding correlations between variables).

Causal rule mining can be used in recommender systems¹ as a form of explanation.
