While Brave Search uses an independent index to find the search results, which is a very good thing privacy-wise, since Brave the company is pretty much trusted, the search engine is not good for non-english queries, or queries regarding events outside the US.
DuckDuckGo, which I think uses the same index as Bing, is better in this part, and I think is pretty much as private.
